It has been so frigid here these past couple of days! Well, I take that back...It will get colder...
It rained all day yesterday and today there is so much wind and snow, very blustery.
I haven't made my entire holiday baking list yet so the kids and I just made some regular chocolate chip cookies. Plain old tollhouse cookies....Sometimes it's nice to go with something nostalgic rather than fancy.
Christmas cookies are very traditional for us. I usually bake the same kinds but tend to add a couple of new ones to keep them guessing! I prefer to bake closer to Christmas so we can enjoy the sweets on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Plus, they aren't around for very long for me to snack on for weeks!

Oh these look SO SO SOO good! I can't even bake cookies from scratch right. For some reason they always turn out biscuit looking..
